Terms of Service

By creating an account or using H.I.M., you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

You must be 18 years of age or older to use H.I.M. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

H.I.M. is a messaging app built for friendship and community. It includes direct messages, chat rooms, and buddy lists. The service is free to use.

H.I.M. is not a dating app. It is a social product built for real conversation and connection.

You are responsible for your account and for anything posted or sent from it. Keep your password secure and don't share access with others.

Your screenname should be yours to use. Don't impersonate other people — real or fictional — or choose a name that is misleading or offensive.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us right away at support@hiitsme.app.

H.I.M. is a place for real conversation. Do not use the service to:

• Harass, threaten, or bully other users
• Post or share illegal content of any kind
• Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages
• Scrape, crawl, or automate the service in any way
• Attempt to circumvent our content moderation systems

We use server-side content filtering and a community report system to enforce these rules. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

You own your messages. By posting content on H.I.M., you grant us the limited right to store and deliver that content to your intended recipients. We do not claim ownership of anything you create.

Flagged messages may be reviewed by our team as part of our trust and safety process.

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page in the app. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. When you delete your account, we erase your profile, your messages, and all associated data.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion, with or without prior notice. Severe violations — such as posting illegal content — will result in immediate termination.

We aim to keep H.I.M. running reliably, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted uptime. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, H.I.M. and Saman Technologies LLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

We'll post updates to these terms on this page along with a new effective date. Continued use of H.I.M. after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.
